Genre(s): Christian / Power Metal
Formed in
Londrina - PR, 2001. The band Heilig Völliggot its start in early 1996 and since then has been trying, through his music, to help young people avoid drugs and teach them the concepts of Christianity. The band was formed by guitarist and vocalist Luciano Novi Helio D'Tarsus, in order just to praise God in their lyrics and heavy metal into their music. After some time, starting with its formation and now with the CD The Power Of God recorded, the band has undergone some modifications, such as the departure of their bassist, Jacomini Rodrigo, and his drummer, José César. With the departure of two members joined the band bassist Caesar Augustus and Dani Martin on drums. Not long after, in 2000 the band recorded the CD Looking For The Light, elected the same year by the readers of the best Mission Metal White Metal band of the year, the best White Metal CD of the year, the best cover art of CD, the second best song, and had its lead singer, Helio D'Tarsus named best vocalist. In the same year the band received an invitation from Steve Rowe himself, bassist and vocalist of Mortification, that together with the Stauros Hammer and Light, make a collection that would be distributed across America and Europe, and shortly thereafter, also on request Steve Rowe, did the opening show in Sao Paulo, the first presentation of Mortification in Brazil. In 2001 came the need for the band to change name, which since its formation problems faced by the name (Heilig völlig means is full salvation, in German) for having difficult to pronounce. It was then that Luciano Novi discovered a new name: Belica. Around the same time, the band's invitation to relaunch Megahard Records label with the CD Looking For The Light, that this new release, now with the new name, got a new mix and had to record a new song, Free Will . The last member to join the band was keyboardist Karl Ellwein. So the band recorded its latest CD, For All, still with the label Megahard. Due to problems with the direction of the band is recording the following year, even during the CD release, the move to a new record company, partnership Frontiline Avantage Records and Records, who reissued the album For All The band has in its curriculum shows with big names of White Metal world as Mortification, Bride, Seventh Avenue and White Metal greats of country, such as Stauros, Clemency, Noble Metal, G3, Eternal, Calvario. Attended the show in honor of the White Metal band Stryper, one of the most acclaimed bands in the event.
