Formed in Bauru - SP, 1995. Bonequinho.. (“bo-neh-kin-ho” / bnqnh, 3-18-1993) is a Brazilian experimental act/garage band producing audio recordings, visual arts and texts; it performs live since 1995... The members have changed innumerous times, so the atmospheres. Formed in a small city (Bauru, Sao Paulo's inland), ..bonequinho.. played along with different bands and styles in underground/small events, from anarcho-punk gigs to hip-hop, from black metal to “popular music” shows, among others... Outsider to a "scene", ..bonequinho.. has always worked with raw improvisation, sensorial and extreme manifests as a language of self-communication... .. .. ..bonequinho.. works on very small and handcrafted scales and releases the material by its own label ..Platonic(a)Music(a)... Most of the organic sounds are recorded live in one-track systems. There are 13 CDs, various audio tapes, videos and xerox zines... bonequinho is at ..this place.. to share the free fall, divulge and split records and shows with interested or interesting people... Considered “amateur”, with hermetic and irregular works, ..bnqnh.. doesn’t follow patterns of quality and doesn’t intend to entertain

A CD-only compilation with the first years of bonequinho. It gathers partially the “bonequinho is dead” K-7 (1999) and the “don’t sell what u feel/ songs against the mankind – ‘93-‘00” K-7/CD (2000), another collection of early stuff released in the 90s on really small K7-only issues. Plus tracks from “old skull/ no school e.p.” and “caixa de segredos miseráveis”, both recorded in 1998. Hand-crafted/ painted edition; xerox. Issued in 2002.
