Formed in Rio de Janeiro - RJ, 1992. The year was 1992. January, to be precise. What was going through our minds (mine and Alan Silva) was to make a sound with influences from Possessed, Death, Massacre, Celtic Frost, Bolt Thrower, Venom, Sodom, and a blasphemous attitude of national icons like sarcophagus, Sextrash, Expulser, Loucyfer ... Finally, bands that idolized a few years, however, we could not spill this will in our passage through the eighties Kripta in the previous year. Now was the time to do what we always will, but lacked the main thing: a drummer to complete the training. This element has always been scarce in our underground scene here in Rio de Janeiro. Fortunately, the problem was remedied during a concert Korzus the RDP and the Flying Circus (or would Dorsal Atlantica and RDP?'ll Know ...) when, during a conversation and a few beers, came Marcus Vinicius. Lover of the same bands I and Alan and owner of a technique interestingly self-taught, allowed an immediate affinity with us, and so was founded the first incarnation of the band. The name came from a text in a comic Savage Sword of Conan (another fad ours). Founded and named the coldblood made his first essay in about April of the same year. The compositions tended toward a mix of Death Metal with Doom Metal, alternating fast riffs and sharp and more rhythmical and exciting with slow parts and gloomy, cavernous and ultra-heavy. Shows. Coldblood always been a band from the stage. Was so even without having any recorded material, begin to present. Certainly, by virtue of euphoria and recklessness of the age, as our age regulated between 16-17 years. Was added a second guitarist, Leandro Ferreira, coming from Juiz de Fora / MG, which has also had some experience in sound extreme, having participated in bands like Brutal Distortion and Necrodisseminator. It was a fruitful period in terms of shows, and was immortalized by recording the demo k-7 "Terror Stench", on September 3, 1992, in Studio Label 3 Realengo neighborhood, Rio de Janeiro. Following the recording, back to being a power trio, leaving only Alan on guitars and vocals, Marcus on drums and that this Here you tells this story in the bass. But every story has its moments unhappy. The year 1993 is chaotic for coldblood. Few shows, lack of money, no return by the few specialized daépoca labels, and internal problems that began to emerge, culminating in the departure of Alan called on account of the Armed Forces, and downtown Marcus Vinicius, after a show in Garage, this small underground temple of Rio, which was often a backdrop to the saga of coldblood. After a few failed attempts and staggered formations return comes the end in January 1994. For six years, each one takes care of his life, and Alan Marcus and create the Bodhisattva, continuing their careers, while bassist here remains in the dark. That was until late 1999, when in conversation with Alan for a martial arts training, our ideas met again, and the proposal was made to return to Marcus. Hence for the tests was very fast. However, the affinity was not the same, and Marcus went back to take care of other projects. Was recruited to his place Eduardo Henrique, the experienced drummer Symbolic Immortality, and Gustavo Sazes (who would later form the Stormfall) for the second guitar. Another demo, this time using the technology of the cd, and a gig opening for the Kings of Death Metal world, Krisiun. The sound has now abandoned the slow parts, and assumed airs of fast and brutal Death Metal, but with the essential influences oitentistas. Following Gustavo and Eduardo left the band, which is again a trio (trademark, incidentally) and will count with the presence of Flavius Krom in the administration of drumsticks. 2 more shows, and Alan is forced to abandon the vessel by professional issues, as well as Flávio, who goes to live in Paraná. At that point, I had already become Satanachia, bassist horde of Black Metal Mysteriis, which Alan also made as part Veltis, and also ended up seeing forced to leave. It might seem like the end, but it was not. After three years, the original fomação reunited. More experienced, mature and sure of your goals, Alan, Marcus and I bet again on the old formula of Metal we marveled during adolescence, and made the band back to life, more aggressive, raw and bestial than ever. With the release of the EP "New Black God" coldblood returns triumphantly waving the banner of Death Metal, ready for combat and wreck necks and whip the eardrums of those who still believe that only death is real!
