DARKLANDS

Formed in Aracaju - SE, 2002. The Darklands band initially emerged from the union of three friends who set out to play heavy metal. The garage of one of them was the scene of the first trials . The makeshift drums and two guitars tune would be just the small beginning of a big dream of making music . Soon after arranging a bassist and a vocalist, the band was then formed . In September 2003 started rehearsing , taking covers of Iron Maiden , the band quite admired by all members . At this time , the band was called " Shivuk " , which means " remaining energy " in Japanese . After 3 months the band could already be noticed the talent of five members , through a presentation in a championship school bands , which was obtained 2nd place and were received many compliments. From there the band was renamed " Darkness " and sought to track their own songs . The performances of the band began to emerge more strongly in 2004 , when it presented the Culture Street , the SDE Rock'n the 1st Hell Come to Interland . In June 2004 the band decided to record their first demo entitled " Fire on the sky " after the song of the same name composed by the group.The presence of a European band called " The Darkness " took the band to want to change the name and was then came the current name Darklands.
