COURO DE RATO

Formed in Itatiba - SP, 1996. The band emerged in mid-year 1996, when six guys got together to play covers of bands of the punk scene / hard-core as Raimundos, Ramones, Boys Rotten Grave (ah! always Sepultura), Dry Eye , Devotees of Hate, among other bands. Earlier, the Leather Mouse was formed by Alex (vocals), Alligator (Vocal), Rodrigo "Condorito" (guitar), Ivan (bass), Eduardo (drums) and DJ Bozó (Squash). In the first few presentations with a simple sound and competent staff they please the "little land" and initiated the first forays into the interior of São Paulo. They recorded their first demo, which had as its flagship music "Diary of a Commoner" band. With each passing day, the covers were giving way to the creations of the band (there were more than 100 original songs) that fell into the graces of critics renowned journals such as "Rock Brigade" and "Underground". In 1998, the band spent the first changes in its initial composition. With the departure of vocalist and bassist Ivan Alligator, the band started to count only with Alex on vocals and bassist Davis. Together they recorded 3 CD's (2 in studio and live) with only part of the collection of this band together with other like Autopsy, Waiting ..., Smell, Chaga Town, Anthill, Rain Drops, among many others led the Rock 'n Roll Itatiba beyond the borders of the "little land".
