Formed in Belo Horizonte - MG, 1992. The Roaches dizzy emerged in mid-92, Belo Horizonte, with the proposal to play Psychobilly, a mixture of 50's Rockabilly, Surf Music, Punk Rock, Hardcore, B Movies, Horror, Comics, among other things. Luiz Fireball, which was already some time with the idea of the band on the head, one day he met Igor Rockford in a show of De Falla in BH and it made the indecent proposal to mount the Cockroaches. Soon the two scored in a test house with an amplifier Igor Mikassim old war, and with bass and guitar connected together and the presence of a friend of Igor Vander Big Tongue, playing a drum "imaginary" on top of books, was born the band the Cockroaches dizzy. The name, which was just before The Cockroaches, was changed at the suggestion of his friend Julinho of Avalon Records, thus showing more than their trash, also the band's irreverence. Tests made, songs ready, the first training was as follows: Luiz Fireball (bass and vocals), Igor Rockford (guitar and chorus) and Big tongue Vander (drums). Soon they gave their first concert in a festival called "Rock Dust", and shortly thereafter Vander leaving the band to devote to Balls Square, where the band played alongside. To the place of Big Tongue was recruited Fred Blaster, and Fred the band gave several concerts and was the first published reports. The roaches were pioneers in the style Psychobilly in Minas Gerais, and began to draw media attention. Fred was also recently in the band, and Vander was called back, which readily accepted. With the return of Big tongue, in the 93 Cockroaches recorded their first demo, "In the Mood for nerves!" (produced by Magoo), a video clip, "A Terrible Vengeance" (Savio's Milk), played in Bhrif several times a Squat (with attendance record), in Broaday in Superdemo BH and BIG Curitiba , among other shows. Big Tongue after leave the Cockroaches, and the invitation that Luiz and Igor did this time was for Concrete, former drummer of the insolent. With the entry of concrete, which later would become Bob Beer, the band added more weight and speed to music, and style before they drank more at the source of rockabilly, now turned to the Hardcore and Punk Rock. In 95, after almost two years and have not registered with the consecration of the specialized press as one of the best Psychobilly bands in the country, the band released their second demo-tape, "Swallow your chainsaw!" (also in the production of Magoo). With this demo the Cockroaches played in Salvador Bahia with The Dead Billies, gave several concerts in BH and got a recording contract from a CD with the label Mushroom Records. In 96 recorded their first (and only) CD, which bore the same name as their first demo, "In the Mood for nerves!" (also produced by Maggo). This CD came out the video clip "Three Cockroaches and a destination" (directed by Rodrigo Minelli), invitations to play in several places, including Goiania, Curitiba (second time), and to participate in the compilation "Urbanoise", the label Rotten records, alongside Vadius Kaes, Rotten Kids, Billy Brothers, among others. The Cockroaches went to Sao Paulo to the show to launch the collection, to play with Billy and Kaes Vadius Brothers. In 97 the band was invited to participate in the festival Abril Pro Rock in Recife, one of the most important alternative music festivals in the country. Still have 97 different shows, the last of which was the bar's Work, and soon after, by internal disagreements, the band broke up. In 98 nothing happened, the guys talked little, but in 99 the band was invited to participate in the show "The Return of the Living Dead" in Butecário only with bands that had already ended, the festival's "Psycho Attack Over BH" the Work with psycho bands from various parts of the country, and to open the show of the American band "Man or Astro Man?" in Lapa Multshow. From there, the band got the idea to do a show every year, and that's what happened from the following year. In June 2000 gave a show at the Matrix in November 2001 Work on a show and again in November, but in 2002, another show in the Work. From 2002 until 2007 and made a break of five years (!), And then touch the Psycho Carnival 2007 in Curitiba, but this time with Fred Blaster, drummer of the second training. And so dizzy The Cockroaches will follow, with shows that can happen every 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 years, will know, but with the same ideals when they formed the band: Music, Tufts, tattoos, Cadillac, beer cold and naked women.
