Formed in São Paulo - SP, 2008. Chemical Disease was formed in São Paulo (Brazil) at the end of 2008, when Alexandre Freitas, guitar and vocals (ex Zero Vision), decided to rewrite on his home studio the lost repertoire of his first thrash metal band called Sorcery, band who recorded two demos in the late '80s (Chemical Disease, 1988 and Sad Reality, 1989) before ending in 1990. Alexandre shown the recordings for a friend and bassist, Daniel Corvo who enjoyed the music and suggested the resumption of the band still called Sorcery.  Then they met by chance in a studio, the drummer Ricardo "Alemão" Nutzmann who heard the recording and after a quick "thrash jam session, joined the band at the same time. In late 2009, after a few months rehearsing as a trio, the name was changed to Chemical Disease, and Tiago Visceral is summoned for the second guitar, completing the lineup. Chemical Disease is currently writing and rehearsing new material for a future CD Joining the rawness of old school thrash, with technique and speed of today.
