Formed in Goiânia - GO, 1999. The Cheol was formed in late 1993 to early 1994, when Mághor (bass and vocals) and his friend William Pires (guitar) decided to end the band Via Sacra (Death Metal) to begin with Sheol. The theme of the two bands was very similar suffering only some changes in the natural grammatical and structural parts of the letters. Mághor alongside William, takes the guitar and another on drums Kaveira. And after several training problems in 1999, already without William, the band participated in the first edition of the Collected "Southern Warriors Cult" with the song "Wicked Called Cruelty" which had excellent reception of the national audience and won some fans outside. To make your own style Sheol is influenced by many musical styles and for various other bands. His lyrics have a poetic richness and cover topics such as misanthropic, sex, death, hatred, vile desires and dirtiest secrets of the human mind, and perversion and cruelty. Influenced symbolist poetics of Charles Baudelaire and Cruz e Souza among others, the group still manages to adapt these parts to their songs making the two quotes in 3 of their songs. After the release of that collection with the band stabilizes Magor (Guitar and Vocals), V. Somber (Guitar), Azz-Harad (Low), Nix (Keyboard and Vocals) and Kaveira (Drums). After playing in some states and in his hometown that same line up recorded a demo entitled "SICK SICK SICK" in 2003 containing 5 sounds original and a Bonus. But its release is delayed due to internal problems and financial. In 2004 V. Somber is replaced by Ira Cristi, in 2005 for lack of time to devote himself to music Kaveira abandons activities with Sheol, which in turn cuts professional ties with Azz-Harad. In 2006 Mághor creates the seal Submusik Records only release of the demo was done in q CDR format, but received treatment and a professional booklet making on coated paper colored with photos of the band and all the letters in exceptional graphic work developed by Nix . Which was well received and passed on the Brazilian scene with rave reviews in magazines and specialized sites. Upset over the CHEOL this page now has the return of NIX on the keyboard, IRA CRISTI this time on bass and on drums estreiante EDUARDO evil to proliferate the plagues of the world through their music.
