Formed in Joinville, Santa Catarina - 2006. The band Acefalia began in 2006 in Joinville / SC, and since then has been performing at festivals in the local underground. Formed by Maicon (guitar, vocals) and Rodrigo (drums, vocals) the band does a raw and death metal, influenced by bands like Deicide, Cannibal Corpse, Brujeria, Asesino, among other bands style, with lyrics in Portuguese that speak of the vision we have of the world in which we live. In September 2009 the band entered the Vortex studio to record their first record. With production and graphic art over from Fabio, a member of the Flesh Grinder, were recorded nine songs that appear on the self-titled cd, all work was done independently. Currently the band is working on new material for recording the second album.
