ACANON

Formed in Salvador, Bahia - 2007. With a new line, the metal band of Bahia Acanon concludes "The Mirror and The Angel Asleep." Recorded at Studio 60 in December 2009, production was on account of Jera Clavier (who has worked with several bands in the genre) and the band itself. Clearly the maturity of the musicians in this new material, both in composition and in execution of the nine songs that fill the disc. Technical and sentiment perfectly reflect the combination of aggressiveness, timbres and melodies. Even with "Remaking God," the debut album of Acanon, circulating among the crowd that participates actively in the rocker scene of Salvador, guitarist Junior left the band. After some tests and attempts to keep two guitars in the band, Paulo Monteiro (Nebória) retain his post and assumed alone the six strings, ably. On bass, Jorge Santiago fires leaving grooves dynamic and expressive sound more jarring and heavy. And even more refined, distinctive voice of Juliana Cazé (Raven) gives a terrifying tone to the letters, without losing their feminine sensitivity. Surprising on tracks such as Fullness and Extinction, the big news about the band is changing Luidia Pussente (Payot, Nebória) battery for the vocals - due to a problem of tendinitis in his right arm. To take over on drums, none other than Louis (Cobalt). His experience is of great significance in the outcome of the group's sound. Admittedly influenced by bands like Arch Enemy, Killswitch Engage, The Black Dahlia Murder, Meshuggah, Shadows Fall, Hatebreed, The Sound of Acanon has its own personality. They include the many compliments paid by the general public, in addition to several invitations to play in major events and festivals, among the most important are the Stage of Rock 2008 (ACCRBA), the Belly Evil (Catacomb Productions) in Art House Bahia No Mercy II (Hermione Productions), Nitro 3.0 (New Brutality Productions), and Zauber in Trash Attack (Rage Productions) at Piazza del Reggae. Completing four years of existence Acanon shows the seriousness and determination in this fabulous work, scheduled for release early next semester. Thus, the band will making his way with consistent and quality music. Also in the first half of 2011, driven by the desire to create new songs its members decide to return to the studio early in the year following the release of their second album "The Mirror And The Angel Asleep," to work in the preparation of a new material. Earlier this production process, left the band drummer Louis Ferdinand, after reaching a consensus of other musicians. Despite the setbacks and difficulties encountered in its path, the Acanon not stopped, he continued his musical work and submitted their demo. The project was titled "Reconstruction" has three songs and breathtaking. The title reflects the new phase of the band, which was unmoved by adversity, releasing their new material on My Space.
