Formed in Minas Gerais. The
band emerged in January 2006 by guitarist and vocalist Ed Leandro Sousa, who
met in another band at the end of 2004. By Leandro were "recruited"
the other members: guitarist Fernandes Rodrigues, Leandro's childhood friend,
drummer Herivelton Ferreira, Leandro who met in a music school where they both
studied and bassist Julio Di Buccio, longtime friend of the members. The Ayra
has influences from various bands of Hard Rock and Heavy Metal. The group's
sound is a Hard n 'Heavy with punch and attitude, with songs dealing with
personal issues and today, as politics and violence showing that through the
music can make people think more about their lives and attitudes towards the
world.
