BLACK MASS

Formed in Belém - PA, 1988. Band formed in March 1988 by brothers Luiz (guitar) and Sean (drums), soon after entering Heraldo on vocals, Leonardo on lead guitar and Joe on bass. Rehearsed for some time with this formation but problems occurred because Heraldo is kicked d banda eLeonardo moved from the state. With that Luiz takes the vocals enter and the former Marco Nosferattus "Mad Butcher" (coming out sometime later discovered that it was a fake that does not like what I did). The training was then: Luiz (guitar / vocals), Sean (drums) and Joe (bass), and with this formation they recorded their first demo tape of the band "The Last Mass" which was recorded in "Mouse's Studio" in 21.02. 1989. This demo tape consisted of two songs: "Nuclear War" and "Sepulchral Entity" that through exchanges and cooperation with friends of many fanzines of the era was well received by all. The band participated in three major festivals (Variasons, Underground Festival and Thrash-Punk Union), this Finally had the cameo in downtown Sérgia. And with the band Grim Reaper. The demo tape "The Last Mass" had several comments on how the season Fanzines: ETERNAL NOISE'Zine / STAGE DIVING'Magazine, among others. After some unstable formations the band finally estabilized with: Luiz (guitar / vocals), Bruno (bass) and Sean (drums). The banda testing for some time and new compositions in September 1989 they recorded their second demo tape "Satanic Possession" which was recorded on 09/24/1989 composed of sounds: "Satan's Empire" and "devil To Church." The band participated in other festivals and released by exchanging tapes a live tape "Black Mass - Live in Bar Celeste, Belém do Pará 1989."
