BLACKLAYER

Formed in Salvador - BA, 2006. Founded, in 2006, by Guilherme Neto (guitar), the idea to create a new style of metal that slip of the normal, grouped as the second guitarist Marcos Pacheco (ex - From Hell). After some back and forth, with vocalists and drummers, an invitation for a test with the singer Dorian Sa, who had ended his stay in a progressive band, and the drummer Nestor Carrera (ex - Fatality) was done. .. Some time after the schedules are shocked and tests were done, materializing, then, the convening of the two new members. For some differences of ideas and the style, the guitarist Marcos Pacheco announced his exit from the band, as component. After the first compositions are finalized, there is the idea of "baptize" the band with the same name of the first song of work, Blacklayer. .. After few months in the studio composing, the lead singer, Dorian, needed to make a trip to Europe, for purposes of study, leading a parade in the project. With his back, the band sets foot on the floor and resumes its work. .. In 2008, tests were carried out with some guitarists and bassist and joined the band Tiago Sampaio (guitar) and Alan Nunes (bass). In May of that year, 2008, Blacklayer held its first concerts and recording a single entitled "Pain and Death Are True" containing the music of work “Blacklayer”. An Unwillingness to schedule makes the guitarist Tiago Sampaio left the band at the end of 2008. .. With its conceptual lyrics (based on stories of horror) and terrifying riffs the band have been showing an innovative sound that has its basis in traditional Heavy Metal added to the aggressiveness of thrash metal, which was welcomed by the specialized critical. The disclosure on sites such as massive, Orkut, Myspace, Purevolume, Mp3tube, Youtube and mass execution in radio of heavy metal music “Rock Freeday”, led the band to the sound of "Headbangers" not only in Brazil but also from other countries like the United States, Canada, Portugal, Spain, Norway, Finland, Bolivia, Argentina and others, yielding numerous compliments to the band. Due to great effect obtained, the band chose to return to the studio to finalize the composition of the debut, "The Night of The Death", with estimates of launching in 2009.
