BLACK SWAN

Formed in Santos - SP, 2002. BLACK SWAN is composed of Macedo on the mic, Vicente and Leandro on the guitars, ARC on the bass and Murilo on the drums. All the crew was gathered at different times, in different ways and from different bands, but each one of them with the same prospect: "Bring the noise". Everything started with the vocal leader Macedo in February 2002, at this time BLACK SWAN was a band without a name, with a lot of ideas, but almost no progress. For an instant the band had a break/hiatus for 2 years untill the real players broke into the game. The band without a name was reborn as SOFTENING OF THE BRAIN, appearing the first actual "old" band member, ARC, coming from the famous power metal band, SHADOWSIDE, invited by Macedo. Months after the second actual "old" member Leandro, was found in a relationship website for musicians without a band called "tosembanda.com". For 2 years SOTB remained with the same team, performing some meaningful concerts with some notorius national bands such as: CHIPSET ZERO, CHOLDRA, C-REAL, EMBRIOMA, EDC and others...in the middle of 2007, two other figures appeared, Murilo to replace SOTB drummer and Vicente to complete the team, bearing in mind all those changes and all the good apportunities not expected, all the group choose to change the band's name to something related with our situation and in that way BLACK SWAN appeared.
