Formed in Campinas - SP. The band was formed by three friends who compartilhavam and love great rock bands of the '70s like Queen, Uriah Heep, RUSH!!!!!, Focus, other more obscure as the Italian progressive groups like Alphataurus, Cut Di Miracoli, Semiramis, Le Orme, and magistrais entities English and German Genesis, Yes, King Crimson, ELP, Grobschnitt, Camel, Tangerine Dream ... The formação is as follows: Leonel Vieira (bass, flute & vocals), Jobson Machado (guitars, keyboards and vocals) and Ramon Silva (drums). Before Canyon, Jobson tocava guitar em uma band Death / Thrash called Vociferate (eg -Schizofrenia) where executavam cover of Sepultura, Dorsal Atlantica and compositions own, chegaram Registrars u Demo to behold TVs nenhuma divulgação by themselves becoming um souvenir for friends and members of banda.O drummer Ramon Silva is native of the former band Insomnia , founded m 1998 where he was guitarist alongside his longtime friend, Khan (former Bermuda Triangle, Ecstasy, euthanasia and u kind of Highlander Rock, St. Louis) on the other guitar, Rubiano (ex-battery it Guerrilha and fan of the Spice Girls), Francis (keyboards), Claudius (bass) and Agnaldo (former outlet, vocal). Tocaram enough on the underground circuit of St. Louis' em local and Night And Day and Bar Harbour, mainly , next to bands dessa time as the infamous and extinct Vomitorial Lord, Tanatron, Herpes, Endorphina, Har-Magedon Last March, Behavior Estranho and others where faziam (or BEST, tentavam play) basically covers of Ozzy, Megadeth, Marillion Van Halen, Sabbath, Dio etc.. Leonel Vieira participated previously in mid 2001 to um PROJECT last few trials where objetivo was fazer um tribute to Black Sabbath with the name Heaven And Hell, curiously formação was quase the same Canyon, just changing fato that the battery estava Fabio (Vociferate) and Ramon was vocalist (!!!!!!!!) After desse period three if afastaram for various reasons (WORKED studies, family ...) mas continuavam friends and quando reencontraram resolveram by em practice their old Projet they hit juntos.Mas qual style adotar? Ramon sugeriu fazer um sound à la Saxon, Angel Witch, or Sejas Metal Old, Clássico.E JA tinha to um name: Hounds Of Hell.Foi quando Leonel sugeriu the band Devéria back but still in passado and follow Caminha of Progressive Rock , and then a weird afternoon listening clássicos Genesis, Manfred Mann Earth Band, Jethro Tull and King Crimson, decisâo was unanimous: Progressive Rock!!!!! The initial idea was to play music of the great icons of style mas after the first compositions começaram surgir and own material became prioridade.Daí came the copyright, Elegy For King, Questions, VAE Solis, Sleeping Lady and Hallucination Of A Madman.
