Formed in Brasília - DF, 1996. The banda Canelas de Cachorro was formed in January 1996 in order to make a sound facing the Punk Rock / HardCore, also mixing other styles such as Reggae, Funk etc ... With only two members Kaco (G) and Leo (D), still missing vocalist and bassist, who had a really common influences such as DRI, Suicidal Tendencies, Rage Against The Machine, Bad Brains, Bad Religion, Ramones, Shelter, Nirvana and many other. After awhile joins Gustavo banda (B) and Julius Caesar (V), in October 1998 felt the need for another guitarist is invited to join the band Ronaldo (GS) in December of the same year Léo (D) leaves in banda, taking place in January 1999: Maurilio (D), which after about five months, left the band, giving rise later this same year Beto (D), the current drummer Canelas Dog and August 2001 Kaco (G) leaves the band. On November 4, 1996 is recorded her first work, a demo-tape-test, showing undisguised track the way in which the band and in early 1999 the band entered the studio and began recording their second album, a CD Single, this studio recorded in analog, was highly praised by local critics, other states and even outside the country (Argentina, Venezuela etc ...). In late 2002 start promoting his first CD (One World), this with a very large acceptance by the media and the public. During this period, the band made several presentations, attending gigs and festivals traditional (Acoustic Shell Reopening of Brasilia, Tribes Festival, CarnaRock 99, MiquereRock, 24 Hours for Peace show at the Garage Café (Goiânia / GO), I-Rock and Reggae, Second Meeting of the Hogs Surrounding DF (Buritis / MG), college music festival UNICEUB, Band Meeting for discussion of cultural support 2003 (Brazil Courtyard Shopping), Musicalango Festival 2003, I-Brasilia Rock Fest 2000 Rock Mix, Basement Rock's 2000 and 2002 among many others), these stood out the Brasilia Rock Fest 2000 and the Rock Cellars 2000 and 2002. The band also participated in two collections, a provider of UOL with the Official Community of Brasília (CD Compilation - 2000), with a circulation of one hundred and five thousand copies and collection Cerrado All-Star (CD Compilation - 2001. Regardless of opportunism or momentary fads, Canelas de Cachorro thanks everyone who contributed to the maturation, development and dissemination of their work.
