Formed in Caraguatatuba, São Paulo - 1997. The band was formed in 1997 in Caraguatatuba, São Paulo state, with the name and Stranded at the time, she sang in English. According to the singer Sandro, the group was formed "for failure and lack of rock in the city." However, the band had to be renamed because of an American band have claimed the name. For a suggestion of a friend, they so chose Aditive. The band Aditive not like labels, but it is assumed as a rock band that walks through hardcore. It has three albums and over ten thousand copies sold. The first two albums, "Soundtrack To Nobody Special" and "Reverse", came out by the respected Urubuz Records, which also launched the "C Side Project", a split where the band changed the music and Nx Zero Sugar Kane. In 2004, the band played in Count IV Count held in Rock Club, Greater BH. [6] In 2006, a month, the band went through Brazil, going from Fortaleza to Porto Alegre. That same year, showed up at the festival in Fortaleza Ponto.CE and DoSol festival of Christmas. From 2006 the bassist Sergio Sofiatti, made great national success as a musician with Skuba in the mid-1990s and also working with Andre Abujamra, joined the band and produced the album "Ignition", released in April 2007 by One Life Recordings. This album was selected as one of the best of the year Award by Dynamite Dynamite magazine, leading independent music awards in Brazil. The video for the song eponymous album was performed on several channels throughout Brazil and eventually voted the second best of the year by readers of the site Zona Punk. In 2007, the good effect of the album took the band to programs such as the 'Jornal da MTV "and" Speech + Combo Play', the play TV, and band toured the Northeast for the second time and first in the north, past Manaus, Rondônia, Porto Velho, Bethlehem The band performed over 300 shows in seven years of music, including three in the ABC Pro HC International, St. Bernardo do Campo. Also in 2008, the Aditive initiated a project to release their first DVD, which will feature images of various concerts and road.
