Founded in Rio de Janeiro - 1997. It is in mid-1997 in Rio de Janeiro that the history of Agorhy begins. Starting an exhausting rehearsals, songwriting and great strength and determination, a path followed so far by the embryonic formation banda.A account from the beginning with Leonardo Lavatori (Guitar), Rodrigo Pina (drums) and Andrei Ramos (vocals) who at the time Andrew Oberg added (Low), consolidates the first formação.As influences of each member in common, such as Napalm Death, Terrorizer, RDP, Metal and Hard Core merge, and of course, the distorted reflection of life itself, resulting in a musical personality and extremely crude own! The first show takes place in 1999 at the legendary Garage (RJ) next to the mythical Gas Gangrene, the reception from the public exceeds expectations and raises the certainty of the band ... "Play live". From there were concerts after concerts by the state, disclosing the name of the circuit Agorhy Underground, struggles to maintain a full independent band on the scene. After several presentations of the record and the first material in the studio and recorded consolidated Fast Forward in 2002, creating the first experience in the studio, demo called Hybris. The material generates good reviews in specialized míidia and especially in the midst of extreme music Metal Hardcore. Stated with certainty, it follows the release of same, always in the relentless pursuit of overcoming and evolution of the set. Being in a constant evolutionary process, lyrical sound, which creates the second in 2002 called Evergrind petard, written back in Fast Forward, with more experience and improved equipment and much more extreme than its predecessor. During this period Oberg Andre leaves the band and was replaced quickly by Daniel Tavares. Soon after the quartet playing alongside major names in the metal scene like Vader (Pol) 2002, Maggots (Hol) 2003, Subtera, Nephast, Drowned, Siecrist, Unearthly, Horned God, and others. Festivals beyond the borders of Rio de Janeiro, Espírito Santo - Vitória: Noise Fest I (2003) and II (2004). São Paulo - capital: In the first edition of Blood Podrida become real with the release of the new demo cd. Again the output of the new bassist is resolved to musician Danny Gutter, then the Agorhy is honored to participate at the invitation of the biggest event for her own, playing at Circo Voador (Rio de Janeiro) in the reopening of the same metal scene. Beside the biggest metal band Krisiun end of the day, becoming a milestone for the quartet to the present day, receiving approval and endorsement of the musicians own headlining. Continuing the battle is a watershed event in the band, departing vocalist Andrei Ramos. As usual the overcoming of obstacles and then dictating a new direction the band, receive training reformulations. Lavatori Leo (guitar) took the voice, Rodrigo Pina (drums), Danny Gutter (guitar) and the entry of new bassist Hugo Botelho consolidating the new formation.
