ANARCHY SOLID SOUND [A.S.S.]

Formed in Rio de Janeiro. Year 1990. That was the band ASS - Anarchy Solid Sound, with the proposal to play rock-influenced punk, surf, and hardcore. The first formation of that notice, Alexandre Ventura had the electric bass, J. Jacobina on guitar and vocals, Theophilus Roberio Catelani on vocals and on drums and vocals. After some months of testing, record the 1st Demo-Tape "ASS" with three songs (Vietnam, Can you leave me now? And Another Cock Inside Your Mouth!). After recording, Alexandre Ventura leaves the group for input Benedict Gontijo that takes the bass. Year 1991. Fluminense FM Radio invites the group to an interview on Rock News, with presenter Isabel Flores. With positive subjects in various magazines and specialized zines (Rock Brigade, Top Rock, Protectors of Noise) comes the recognition of the work. Concerts begin to make a routine part of the group that performs in various concert halls such as Hard Rock (SG), Le Village (Charitas and Itaipu), Virgil Lee (Itacoatiara) and Dueré (Pendotiba). Year 1992. They record the 2nd demo-tape titled "Be Honest With Yourself" receiving praise for the style of the work program on the new bands with Andrew and Tom-X Lion, also extinct in Fm radio Fluminense. Year 1993. Receive the invitation from Tinitus (Pena Schmidt Productions) to record a cd. After the departure of vocalist Theophilus unusual on the eve of a presentation in Persona (SP) to sign with the label, and rewrites J.Jacobina takes the vocals, plus four new songs that complete the album and the first demo cd is recorded as , being released by the label in 1994. Year 1994. The SSA now as a power trio, more cohesive and the good effect of the work, is invited to shows in several states in the south and southeast. Belo Horizonte (Squat), Campinas (Join the Tribe), Jundiaí, Santo André, Osasco, Santa Barbara West (Hitchcock), Persona (SP), Der Tempel (SP), Curitiba (Big Festival - Mary Jane), Campos, New Delhi, Irajá, Bangor, Vila da Penha, Caxias, Garage, Flying Circus, to name a few, were cities and concert halls where the SSA is presented. Independent bands of the 90s, some still active, shared with the Anarchy Solid Sound of the scene and could not be forgotten: Shia Bra, Beach Lizards, Pinheads, Intense Manner of Living, Dread Full, White Frogs, Muzzarellas, Primal Therapy , X-Hated, MuchoLocoAngels, The Power Of The Bira, No Class, Poindexter, Gas Gangrene, Head, Flying Shark, OZ, Serial Killer, The Cinics, Popping Tits, Little Quail, Tweety and his band, Garage Fuzz, Planet Hemp, Resist Control, Los Jangos, Monkeybrain, The Brewery, The Cockroaches dizzy, Noise Fri, Tornado, Funk Fuckers, Sanity Voice, No Milk Today, and many others that names escape us, certainly not less important. Year 2007. After some parallel work of its members, the group returns to the activities and is in the studio preparing to return to the stage and set off all the weight and speed of melodic hardcore, which made the band one of the references in the rock of the 90s.
