Formed in Betim, Minas Gerais - 2001. Formed in the mining town of Betim (large Belo Horizonte), the quartet Ashtar (read Astar) has much to celebrate. After all, almost eight years of mingling together doing what he loves most: music. Since its founding in 2001, the band's sound has undergone transformations to solidify the results we have today, custom molds to play in pubs and major radio stations throughout the country. It's a sound that could easily be labeled as pop-rock, with lyrics in Portuguese. In concerts, plus some original songs, you can also enjoy various covers with the best of national and international pop. Education: Tom (guitar, vocals) and Mathieu (drums), Mauro Jr. (voice), Tirique (bass).
