ASTÖVIDATÜS

Formed in Blumenau, Santa Catarina - 2002. The name has reference to Astövidatüs demonic entity Vidatö Asto. Astövidatüs is a band of Pagan Folk Black Metal, which originated in Brazil. Skäriath, Befana Dark, Barasko Svargnatar and started the band in 2002. The band has influences as the eighties and Heavy Metal influences of pure Norwegian black metal. His lyrics are based on Viking tales, gods and goddesses of antiquity, demons, witchcraft history and great wizards. In 2002 and 2003 the band recorded some demo tracks, making a sound fast, aggressive and dark. The band was these two recordings: Skäriath (drums), Befana Dark (guitar), Barasko (guitar) and Svargnatar (bass and vocals). In 2004 the band recorded another demo entitled "Lord Of Darkness" in Tamanda's Bass Studio in Blumenau. Containing reworked versions of old recordings and some new songs, much faster and more aggressive than previous recordings. However, the formation of the band on this recording was: Skäriath (drums), Befana Dark (bass guitar), Barasko (guitar) and Svargnatar (vocals). In September 2004 Svargnatar leaves the band for personal reasons, after tests with various vocalists, the most suitable place to stay with the vocal was Okuthortyr, a longtime friend of the band. Currently (2006) continues to Astövidatüs recording his compositions for the release of her Debut Album. Barasko (rhythm guitar) and Okuthortyr (vocals) left the band for personal reasons, and enters Siddharta (keyboard). And now, Astövidatüs enter with full force, and new members with an entirely new repertoire and destructive. On vocals, joined Surgath, lead singer of Great Vast Forest. Siddharta leaves the band for personal reasons. In 2009, Astövidatüs disbanded! In 2011, Astövidatüs returns activities, with the recording of his new CD, titled "2012 - The New Era", which will be completed later this year 2011/ beginning 2012. Are you new formation: On vocals: Kerak Troyll on drums: Skäriath (formerly Training and founder of the horde) and strings, guitars, bass and violin: Ereshkigal (formerly Training and founder of the horde).
