Formed in São José Do Rio Preto, São Paulo. Members: Murilo (vocals), Brasilia (guitar, vocals), gutta (drums), Luke (bass and vocals). Abusus The band was formed in August 1996 in Sao Jose do Rio Preto, interior of Sao Paulo. Integrated Voice by Murillo, Ricardo Brasilia Guitar, Guitar Andre Teixeira, Luke Gonzales Guto and Low Battery. Until mid-2000 the band was named in control, but due to problems with registration changed the name to Abusus. That name, in Latin, means something to eat until its end and represents the indifference with which the human being relates to the nature of natural resources and abusing the extreme individualism that prevails in society today. The name is also related to alternative music as the band always tries to abuse the sound, introducing the most diverse influences while aware that transmits messages. Using English in a repertoire consisting exclusively of songs of his own, his lyrics range from problems in human subjective attitudes outrageous policies, making incisive critique of the current global conjunctures, instead of seeking progress and the common good, and the connivance inertia in the face of widespread inequality and extermination, claimed the attention of all to the urgent need for change in people's behavior in regards to the environment, as well as towards others. In 1998 the band recorded their first demo-tape with the production of Ciero (Da Tribe Studio). The demo tape containing three songs: Damn taxes, poor hygiene, and Fate and Despair. Also in 1998, with the music uprising in the cells participating in a collection called I FestRock Regional Regional. In the month of December 1999, Ricardo Bastia (sampler / percussion) have joined the band bringing more diversity and weight. In August 2000, the tribe participates in the Music Festival in Sao Paulo, where competing with 10 other bands, is ranked the second place, thus having the right to record his first single at Da Tribo Studio. In November of that year the band enters the studio, this time with the production of Tchelo Martins (Krisiun, Genocide, Claustrophobia), and performs the recording of a CD single titled In a fit of rage, containing four songs: Who is the culprit?, mtua destruction, and Mediocrity On impulse of anger. In mid-2002 Lanado the clip for the song Mediocrity, an independent clip containing only scenes of shows, with disclosure only on the internet. In December 2002, after countless shows with bands like Sepultura, Korzus, Siegrid Ingrid, Treta, Claustrofobia, Collapse NR Maguerbes, Chipset Zero, among many others, due to turbulence professional, the band temporarily paralyzing their activities and subsequently returns, however, this time without the participation of Andre Ricardo Teixeira and Bastia. In February of 2006 records in his own rehearsal room, two music tests and Suffering Withdrawal Intellectual Reality with disclosure only on the internet. The band's called this work as non vox populi, which includes the production of Gonzales and Guto Abusus. The Abusus is afoot! Together, making a new website and coming up with ideas and set goals in order to publicize their work, conveying his message always with sincerity and honesty on behalf of the true underground. Abusus encourages all bands, zines, magazines, venues, labels, stamps, etc.. to contact to promote a integrao among people who share the same ideals, seeking union and the growth of the underground movement. Anyway, thinking and acting with conscience! Abusus express enormous gratitude to all those who support and believe in their work, as well as those who attend concerts and encourage the Underground scene.
