ABUTRES DEGOLADOS

Means: Vultures Beheaded

Genre(s): Thrash / Heavy Metal

Formed in Jaú, São Paulo – 1996. In 1996, four teenagers from 16 years came together to play heavy metal. Abutres Degolados the band emerged that after so many fads over these 14 years, has remained true to metal. With a burned CD, the group works to release a new album, the music scene since the bubble jauense again, offering more opportunities for presentation. The band started with friends Blassiolli Vinicius (bass) and Rodrigo Giovanazzi (vocals), who joined Roger Borim (guitar) and Alan Catto Russo (drums). Blassiolli Giovanazzi and had three original songs and the group released their first album in 2002, New Stage, independently. "We have to get other songs on the CD, which had nine in total including a cover of Megadeth, Symphony of Destruction" says Borim. At the time, the band presented itself mainly in a bar in the Plaza of Estudiantes and festivals in the pool Filho. The opportunities, however, were thinning around 2006, causing the metalheads to pass the test only, at the estate of the grandfather of Borim. "But we had to finish also with rehearsals started because a neighbor called the police. Then we stopped rehearsing and playing, "says the guitarist. At that time, the band went through lineup changes: Rodrigo Silva stepped in for the Blassiolli Catto and Ronaldo replaced. Last year, Monterosso Lucas moved to the position of the Denadai Caio Silva and Ronaldo. Then the Abutres Degolados resurfaced. "Now the scene is rekindled. We have received invitations to play well and even refusing some because we are in the process of taking new songs, "says Borim. "The John Guerino is giving plenty of room, even the Salamander Bar, do not put heavy metal. Now also has the Hell's Bar in Quintino Bocaiuva." Although he lived through so many lineup changes and the music scene, Borim boasts the Abutres have not betrayed the metal. "We have not changed. We could have changed the style to please a wider audience or playing in commercial places, but always kept our style, heavy metal, thrash metal and death metal. The band never had so much space, but we survived, "he says. The Abutres play Degolados compositions "of the old" today as a New Stage, Fire and Secret Heaven. With this, incidentally, the band took part in festival Radio Transamerica, which was ranked 88 th among more than a thousand songs from all over Brazil. In concert, the repertoire of Abutress also have bands that influence them such as Megadeth, Slayer, Anthrax, Gamma Ray, Pantera and Sepultura. Currently, the band works on their own compositions - all always in English - with the goal of launching a new CD, which may occur this year or next. "I write the guitar riffs, Lucas Rodrigo puts the battery and makes the letter," says Borim. Source:
