Formed in Curitiba, Paraná - 2003. Brutalizing death metal hardcore residing in the depths of Curitiba, Brazil. Ayat Akrass are influenced by many European and American Metal & Hardcore acts, but they converge their own sound and style. The lyrical content is intellectual and is induced with dark metaphorical poetry that stands for rebellion. This band keeps all the chaotic rawness and attitude of Hardcore Punk, the dooming sound of Metal and a fury of ideas that challenge.

These sounds were taken from a video produced by ANDES (National Union of the Professors of the Institutions of Superior Education). It portrays the events that occurred on the day of May 2nd, 2000, in which about a thousand Agricultural Workers Without Land were heading to Curitiba for a demonstration. The policy placing some passengers between the buses of the caravan hindered the workers\' trip. Immediately, an operation of repression to the movement was initiated, hundreds of agricultural workers were wounded and Antonio Tavares, one of the demonstrators, was assassinated there.
