Genre(s): Hard Rock / Progressive Metal
Formed in São Paulo, São Paulo 2001. Formed
in 2001 in Sao Paulo by a group of friends linked to the music scene in Rock
and Roll / Heavy Metal / Hard Rock. Influenced by bands like Mr. Big, Extreme,
Rush and Living Colour, the band works their own compositions from the start,
making a mix of different styles brought by its members. Jazz Fusion and
Progressive join the energy of hard rock and the weight of heavy metal. The
Aygan shows his personality, avoid labels and refuses to relinquish his style
over proposals that do not do justice to their interests. It differs ever is
always a constant concern and make the metal "eat free " is
essential. His lyrics are full of existential discussions and social criticism
quite striking, with the aim of offering more than just entertainment.
Currently, the group is in the process of recording his first CD "Plastic
City" by an independent label. The CD has nine tracks that bring an
overview of various aspects, explaining two of the hallmarks of Aygan: create a
particular balance and a unique chemistry between the musical styles and
explore new possibilities in creativity. Plans for 2008 include, in addition to
finishing the CD, shows alongside bands of the same segment, presenting their
work, and tribute bands like Living Colour, Extreme, Rush, Dream Theater, Red
Hot Chilli Peppers, The Police, David Lee Roth , Liquid Tension and Whitesnake.
