Formed in Rio de Janeiro, Rio de Janeiro - 1999. Formed in 1999 in Rio de Janeiro by friends who had the same musical interest. When the band started, none of the members had experience, four girls wanting to play music from female bands like Hole, L7, Bikini Kill, Lunachicks, Sleater-Kinney, among others. Over time, the band has evolved musically and with the tests, started to create their own music. The acceptance was better than expected. With this the band was only stopping to play covers, mixing well, the songs in Portuguese on your own setlist. The band went through some training: at the beginning were four girls. However, the current lineup is: Roberta - Vocals / Bass, Karina - Guitar, Veronica - Drums. There is no method of creating the songs, but basically the lyrics are easily identified by anyone regardless of sex, age, etc.. At first, the band enlisted the help of many friends and bands because they were always present in the shows. The Apex has played in many places in the municipality of Rio de Janeiro.
