Formed in Bagé, Rio Grande do Sul - 1997. The Apócrifus took his first steps in years 1997, the city of Bage (RS), southern Brazil. At the end of 1999 to band released their first demo entitled "The Shadows Valley", recorded at local studio through four channels. In 2000 there have been changes in training, leaves the drummer and bassist and Apócrifus is required to a stop. In 2001 enters a new drummer and another bassist, then resume the ensaios.Em 2003 the band recorded a new demo and makes some shows. Disclosure: Hell Underground Festival (Pelotas / RS), Buried Metal Fest (Caçapava / RS), 7 Super Bikes (Bage / RS), and most important of them: opening of the Krisiun show in Porto Alegre (RS), the Bar Review. The Apócrifus is focuses exclusively recording their 'Debut' CD. Every year the merciless winter brought wind minuano punishes the pampas of Rio Grande in southern Brazil, land of APOCRIFUS. Inspired by this cold and dark Gladimir Purper founded Apocrifus. The proposal was to externalize a visceral energy in the form of music which resulted in a curt and aggressive black metal with massive doses of melody and weight blasphemies. Months passed and the troop released his first shadows The valley, a demo-tape with only 300 copies (now totally exhausted) that served to publicize the proposal in some of the horde shows the interior of Rio Grande do Sul. After a year of publication, the horde now more solid releases his next job Insanity Dreams with a circulation slightly larger, 666 copies in cd format This paper designed the Apocrifus for new horizons, zines interviews to newspapers etc ... and invitations to play at festivals like Obscure Night, Buried Metal Fest, Bage True Underground Metal Fest Festival and one of the most important events of extreme metal from Rio Grande do Sul, and in 2003 comes a great opportunity to open with the show's uniqueness OPINION Krisiun at the bar in Porto Alegre. Among oct / nov 2005 the Apocrifus record in Porto Alegre on his first studio Hurricane Promo CD "Souls is the Throne of Blood" with producer Sebb Carsin (guitarist Ossuary) who has on his resume recording the album Live Enthroned (black metal / Belgium) in a show held in Porto Alegre. In February 2006 the horde closes an agreement with this disc distrubuição Vampiria Records (SP), and begin to appear alongside various proposals distrubuição by the underground world of stamps. The disc is then distributed in some countries such as Portugal, Mexico, Japan, Italy, Turkey, Chile and Bolívia.No end of 2006 the horde is summoned to represent the southern half (RS, SC and PR) in a festival held by the Impaled Records in Sao Paulo, with some already established bands in the underground. as Ocultan, Lust Lilith Esgaroth. After few months and the proposal comes from a South American tour, starting and Uruguay through Argentina, Paraguay, Bolivia and Chile.

In 2008 the horde passes through a small restructuring, bassist assumes the voice left by his former front-man.Começam then the recording of their debut cd entitled "Phantoms of the Cursed Age," which is slated for release the first quarter of 2009.
