Foto de Câmbio Negro

Means: BLACK EXCHANGE

Genre(s): Hard´n´Heavy

Formed in Porto Alegre - RS, 1988.  Heavy rock band of very short duration, formed by Mitch Marini (bass, guitar, vocals), Tagore Chenier (voice, flute and vocals), Marcelo Fornazier (guitar and vocals), Deio Escobar (guitar, bass and vocals) and Gelson Schneider (drums and vocals). They released a single album "Hard Rock" in 1989, recorded live in Studio "A" ISAEC, from 8:00 to 11:00 pm. The photos of the booklet were designed by renowned Leonid Straliev and production was handled by Mitch Marini. Was also attended by Fughetti Light (Bixo Silk) on vocals. Mitch Marini paid royalties to the family of Jimi Hendrix to record the song "Fire", being the only one that is not authored by Cambio Negro. The real name of Mitch Vincent Marini was Cezar Rodrigues Marini, who adopted the name for being a fan of Mitch Mitch Michel who played in the band Jimi Hendrix. In the 60s he had a band called "Swing" that played covers of The Beatles and Wings. During his career he has participated in several bands, including the band Boys Street. Unfortunately he died in 2006.
