AGATTA

Formed in São Paulo, São Paulo - 2001. "The name comes from the sacred stone Agatta Agate, valued since the remotest antiquity by the Egyptians. It's legendary power to increase the Agate forces who carries. According to the old, seven were its main virtues: lightning protection against spells against diabolical possession, poison, disease, alcoholism and skin ailments. The tradition still attached to the gift of Agate falls protect its carriers, which led the Knights to adopt it as a talisman. Associated with the planets Earth and Mercury, Agate promotes strength, self-confidence and happiness and protection from the evils that afflict the spirit. Agatta The band was formed in October 2001 showing a heavy progressive blend styles from jazz to thrash metal. The band had the following formation: Sergio Araujo - vocal, Gilmar Faustino - guitars, Daniel Miura - guitars, Edu Faria - down Ferraz and Rafael - drums. In the months following Sérgio Araújo (vocals) turns off the band for personal reasons. Later Daniel Miura off the band, for lack of time to devote to fund this project (just turning webmaster of the site). In early 2003 the band Agatta back with a new lineup featuring Fernando Kucinski (former Archmage) freire Lucas on vocals and on keyboards (ex-Living for the Night). After many shows to publicize the new lineup, the band entered the studio to record their demo (Sound studio Mr. Pompey and the Heros Korzus), in the middle of recording keyboardist Lucas Freire writes off the band but the parts of keyboard. With that the band performs at the Black Jack without keyboardist and announced after the search, César Toledo is interested and joins the band. Through it all, the band finished the demo, which is being pressed, and very soon will be released. "
