Formed in Ponta Porã, Mato Grosso do Sul – 2006. The band Agonic started in mid 2006, when singer Oscar Montiel (bathat) and guitarist Maikon Martins decided to make an aggressive and heavy sound. Decided to call a bass player that fits the style, so it came Ibiapina Hengel, while Cesar Benites was summoned to accompany Maikon on guitar, and also needed a drummer and decided to call one of his friends who played drums, Cassio Zambotti (Fuser) completing the band. The quintet followed after some time, opted out of empathic Caesar, because of musical differences and for a time followed with only one guitarist. After a few months appears an option for a second guitar in the band; Eleno Cardozo (Oryon) assumes the post. After a few months Cassio parting from the band also by musical differences, and the band soon had to replace that member of the band. Looking for a drummer to match Koutchin met Ivan, who soon took the sticks and so remains in the band. The Agonic want to record material for 2007, and continue doing so with a sound weight and honesty.
