ATER LETUM

Formed in Campinas, São Paulo - 2004. In May 2004 the bassist Matias Venegas (who adopted the name Valgerd) and former vocalist Erik Medina studied the possibility of creating a band of friends who was initially believed the Black Death. But it was in Latin that the name has stabilized, starting to be called Ater Letum, meaning Death Obscura. Once the band got off the ground, "guitarist Fabio Villas Boas (which currently uses the pseudonym WF Niksa) was invited to join the select team of Ater Letum. With its entry the band is replaced by a new perspective and begin to develop your own sound first, which today is known as "Let Me Die." But that was not enough. Then they were called two members: first guitarist Angelo Rodrigues, who helped create the compositions "The Shadows Dance" and "lustrum Ventus", and some time after the drummer Felipe Corbioli, which was essential to the band synchrony and rapport member. Unfortunately, the band begins to dissolve, and is inactive for some time with the departure of Erik Medina, Felipe Corbioli and Angelo Rodrigues. During this time were created two more songs - "Brotherhood" and "Mystic Waves" - and passed through the band guitarists Rodrigo Caio Corsi and Corsi, who also were not long. So many researches have been made with the help of great friends could find our beloved and great rhythm guitarist: Paul Thorwald. With him in the session band "strings" of Ater Letum just stabilizing. We did so many trials until he Thorwald mingle and get to the level where it is today. After that, two more musicians passed through the band: vocalist and drummer Rodrigo Alves Leonardo "Cave." However, with the sort of recognized Ater Letum, will fancy that they were not too long. After all the difficulties, solved the problem when Vocalist Fabio (WF Niksa) took over this function in the band. Over time we find another drummer: Eder. But still our Mexican soap opera, and after a festival, it is the latest to abandon us. Along our journey, a great friend and fan of the band see our difficulties, decides to leave his guitar and joins as keyboardist Ater Letum. The funny thing is that he never touched the keyboard and decided to risk life. Fortunately, he identified himself with the instrument and had such rapid evolution that is already helping even the band's compositions. His name is Esteban, but he prefers to be called Soullessone. It then begins to phase the band more interesting. Besides the keyboard, we gained a great friend and, without doubt, a musician with great potential: Mauro "Animauro. Of course there were earlier mishaps yet, but that's normal. After several shows and presentations, the band arrives at the conclusion that Fabio should leave his post as lead singer and stand only on lead guitar. after the loss of vocal Ater Letum hunt for a new vocalist, who, thanks to contacts Soullessone could find, his name and his pseudonym and Hugo and "Haborym" with the band finally it is complete, with a total of 6 members, each in their specific instrument, the band managed to go out front and stand out more than ever. After Ater stabilize with the new members were many trials and many efforts made to get where we are, and continuously strive to grow each day more and more. So then we can conclude this story of a great idea, which emerged from a group of friends and now is concretized in two words: Ater Letum.
